Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE) Specialist

We’re looking for a proactive person to lead the organization and implementation of Post-Occupancy Evaluation (POE) — the assessment of comfort and performance in our completed buildings. This role involves collecting and analyzing data on how buildings are actually used, engaging with residents and users, and preparing reports to help us continuously improve our projects.

Responsibilities

  • Developing data collection methodology:
    • Creating and refining survey tools (questionnaires, interviews, focus groups)
    • Exploring new and effective ways to evaluate user experience
  • Data collection and analysis:
    • Organizing resident surveys, conducting interviews and focus groups
    • Using technical tools to measure temperature, humidity, noise, etc.
    • Processing and analyzing large data sets, presenting clear and actionable insights
  • Stakeholder communication:
    • Engaging with clients, residents, and maintenance teams to gather objective feedback
    • Presenting research findings to management and project teams
  • Preparing recommendations:
    • Compiling reports with detailed conclusions and suggestions
    • Proposing improvements to the living environment based on behavioral, technical, and social factors

Requirements

  • Professional experience:
    • At least 1 year of experience in architecture, construction, user research, or resident engagement in real estate
    • Experience with surveys and interviews is a plus
  • Education: degree in architecture, construction, sociology, economics, or a related field
  • Analytical skills:
    • Ability to work with large datasets, systematize and interpret results
    • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, or other data analysis tools
  • Communication and collaboration:
    • Strong communication skills with various audiences (residents, architects, builders, managers)
    • Ability to clearly present research findings
  • Understanding of residential environments:
    • Ability to assess not only technical performance but also social and behavioral aspects
    • Awareness that each resident’s experience is shaped by unique financial and personal circumstances
