On March 28th, we held a strategic meeting at AVR Development’s office with faculty and leadership from Lviv Polytechnic National University to present our vision for collaboration between business and education and lay the foundation for future joint initiatives.
The event began with an opening speech by Yulian Chaplynski, CEO of AVR Development, architect, and urbanist, who emphasized the importance of partnering with the university to engage students in real projects during their studies, which is key to shaping a new generation of architects.
Yurii Romanovych Dyba, Doctor of Architecture, Associate Professor, and Director of the Institute of Architecture and Design at Lviv Polytechnic National University, stressed the importance of combining theory and practice in education. He noted that the modern architecture program should integrate digital technologies and practical cases to prepare students for the real challenges of the market.
This was followed by a series of presentations that further explored AVR Development’s expertise and potential formats for interaction with educational institutions.
Vitalii Kvych, Chief Project Architect, presented the company’s key projects, discussed our architectural philosophy, challenges, and innovations in our work, and also conducted a tour of the office, showcasing the lively project environment.

During the workshop session, Ihor Kunanyts, Lead Architect at AVR Development, and Vladyslav Klepets, HR Director at AVR Development, joined the group moderation, working with participants on ideas for integrating AVR’s practical cases into educational courses and involving faculty in internal training programs.
The meeting concluded with a presentation of the ideas developed, a discussion of next steps, and an informal reception, which provided a great platform for exchanging contacts, thoughts, and new ideas.
We thank Lviv Polytechnic for their openness to partnership and all the participants for their activity, interest, and constructive dialogue. Ahead of us lies joint work on improving educational programs, creating new training formats, and, most importantly, enhancing the quality of training for future architects and engineers.
