In our concept, a market is not just a place to sell everyday goods. It also an important center for social interaction and neighborly relations. For urban residents, who often feel a lack of contact with nature and the agricultural environment, the market can become a kind of “gallery” and “museum” of nature – an ideal place to feel its presence through through the taste, smell, and appearance of fresh produce.
Our team is working on the concept of urban and facade solutions for the Shuvar market, located in the southern part of Lviv, in the Sykhiv district. The existing complex includes five terminals and areas with temporary structures for open-air trade. As part of the design also includes the construction of four new buildings that will complement and diversify the functional program of the market.
The design began with a thorough analysis of the problems both on the territory and in the market infrastructure.
We offer innovative approaches and alternative solutions aimed at breathing new life into this space while maintaining efficient logistics. The main goal is to create comfortable conditions for customers, increase the market’s attractiveness and promote retail development.
