One of the main slogans of UCU is openness, so this term became the main idea when designing the Sheptytsky Center.

The Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Center is an information and resource center at Ukrainian Catholic University which includes a number of lecture and conference halls, several rooms for administrative purposes, public cultural space, a kids’ zone, a café, a bookstore, an exhibition zone and a library. Sheptytsky Center is the main place where Ukrainian Catholic University’s enlightening mission is realized. It has become a leading public space to combine culture, science and education.
